CHECK IN & PROTECT APP FOR BUSINESSES AND ORGANISATIONS TO CAPTURE COMPULSORY VISITOR INFORMATION
Available for free to all Outer Hebrides businesses, organisations, charities and community groups.
Visitor details captured and securely stored. Details automatically deleted after 21 days. Test and Protect requests responded to directly by the Chamber of Commerce on your behalf in line with GDPR.
WHY USE IT?
It is compulsory to take visitor details if you are in the hospitality industry, can also be used by non-hospitality businesses, organisations and charities without worrying about additional GDPR responsibilities.
WHEN IS IT AVAILABLE?
Available now – register your business at protect.outerhebrideschamber.co.uk. Once approved, you will have access to a unique location QR code / 4 digit code on posters to display on your premises.
WHO CAN USE IT?
Visitors can use their mobile phone to scan the QR code, enter their details or a member of your team can enter the guest’s details for them through your dashboard. Visitors only need one simple sign in to use the app in multiple venues.
REGISTER ONLINE IN A FEW MINUTES
Register your business, we will prepare a QR code and posters for you, print these and display on your premises. Manually enter guest details in a web browser for visitors without mobile phones.
If you receive a Test and Protect request for your premises, raise a data request and the relevant information will be provided to the NHS safely and securely on your behalf.
