Fees received for events or workshops will be acknowledged with a receipt.
Attendance of an Outer Hebrides Chamber of Commerce event indicates the attendee consents to being photographed and / or videoed. Any media taken at these events may appear in Chamber newsletters, promotional material for the Chamber and social media.
Cancellations made with fewer than 3 working days’ notice prior to the starting date of the event will be charged in full. With regards to special events, any cancellations must be received no later than 10 working days’ notice prior to the starting date of the event to qualify for a refund. Special events may include, but are not limited to, Annual events, stands at Business Fairs, etc.
Cancellations of training courses or workshops run by the Chamber made with fewer than 3 working days’ notice prior to the event start date will be charged in full. Where training courses or workshops are run by a third party, cancellations will be at their discretion.
If the original delegate cannot attend, a substitution from the same Chamber member organisation can attend in their place at no extra cost. The Chamber must be notified by either e-mail or phone call if this is the case.
